Recovering uncollected accounts and mediating customer disputes are two of the most difficult and unwelcome tasks for any business person.

We have been recovering uncollected accounts for several years through Connecticut Judgment Enforcement, LLC and CJE Financial Services, LLC, both Dean Group companies.

For collections we follow a proprietary process.  Once that process is complete the steps are simple.  The debtor receives one letter requesting payment.  We average between 50% and 75% response to the first letter.

If the debtor refuses to pay we take them to court.  There's no magic formula, but it works almost every time.

If the debtor refuses to pay and disputes the charge we will act as a mediator and work with you to come up with a fair recovery.

If the debtor's claims are completely

That's a two part problem.  First we get your deadbeats to tell it to the judge, then we examine your customer and credit policies to try to cut your losses.

without merit we will go to court and let the judge decide, provided there is a reasonable chance for success.

There is no minimum number of accounts, but we do ask for a $500 minimum for litigation.

Collections are included in our retained services fee, but there are extra charges depending on factors like court costs and at what place in the process the funds are recovered.

It will always cost less than a collection agency, and our recovery rate is better.
