The idea is to find the right business for you to invest in. That is your role. Even though you and you alone will be the owner of the business (you retain complete control of everything) you will not participate in the day-to-day operations of the business. We will leave that to the existing management.

The Dean Group will be your representative in running the business and working with your management team. Here are all the details:

1.  The first step is that we get to know each other and make sure we are a good fit to work together. This entails meeting in person where practical or by phone and discussing your goals and objectives with an idea toward determining what type of business in which you should invest. We look at things like available funds, your expected return, and your stomach for risk.

2.  We get our network involved in finding the right business. Over the past decade we have developed a great system for picking the right businesses in which to invest. We have personally made more than a million dollars picking businesses, which I would be happy to detail for you. We analyze the businesses we find and pick a few for your review. You choose the one you like the best.

3.  Your advisors (accountant, attorney, etc) and our team, led by me, verify all of the details and make sure everything is correct. This would entail visiting the business, talking with senior management, reviewing the financials and more. If you don't have advisors we will help you find the right team. We have a large Rolodex.

4  You close on the business, and retain ownership of the business through an LLC or corporation that you own. Neither The Dean Group or any other organization takes your money -- the money is directly invested in the business we chose together and you own. At that time you also enter into a management agreement with The Dean Group.

5.  Me and the team (and you if you wish) get your investment rolling! We visit your new business investment and get right to work. You get periodic updates (as detailed as you want to be and as involved as you want to be), and you are paid according to the schedule we come up with.

6.  The Dean Group handles the rest. We come up with the system for approvals (depending on how involved you want to be with the day-to-day operations), and we manage your investment for you. That's all there is to it.
